Where to play

ahm members on hospital only, extras only or hospital and extras, or ambulance only cover are eligible for the ahm member NPL offer. Excludes members on overseas student health cover.

To be eligible for the ahm member NPL offer, you must be up-to-date with premium payments at the time of redeeming the ahm member NPL offer.

The ahm member NPL offer includes one 6-month membership to the National Pickleball League which includes:

1. One free pickleball session at any NPL owned or ahm partner venue

2. 10% discount on NPL’s partner paddle provider;

3. 10% discount on merchandise at the NPL Online Store;

4. 10% discount on entry to NPL Tournaments;

5. 20% discount on casual court hire at NPL owned venues;

6. Free equipment hire at NPL owned venues;

7. 10% discount on casual court hire at NPL ahm Partner Venues

Key definitions

1. The term "pickleball session" is used as a broad category for various ways members can play or book pickleball at a venue.  A ‘pickleball session’ is a one-off session of pickleball play (excluding private coaching sessions). A ‘pickleball session’ may also include a one-off visit to a ‘program block’, but not the whole program block. Examples include:

   1. Court Hire: Self-directed play.

   2. Open Play: Casual sessions where players rotate and engage with different opponents.

   3. Clinics: Focused sessions, such as introductory or skills clinics.

   4. Round Robin: Structured play with rotating partners and opponents.

   5. Social Leagues: Weekly competitive matches for similar skill levels.

   6. Ladder Play: Structured sessions with ranking adjustments.

   7. Drills and Skills: Sessions dedicated to improving specific techniques.

   8. Social Pickleball: Informal, community-focused sessions.

2. A ‘program block’ is a recurring group of pickleball sessions, either on a regular basis or as part of a pre-purchased package.

Cannot be redeemed for cash.

If you are unable to play pickleball due to health or medical reasons, you may gift your one 6 - month membership to the National Pickleball League to someone else who is not a member on your ahm health insurance policy or an ahm health insurance member.

Court hire is subject to availability. If you are having difficulty hiring a court, contact the NPL at ahm@nplpickleball.com.au

To redeem the ahm member NPL offer, you must:

1. Log in to your ahm account via the ahm website or app;

2. Navigate to the ‘member offers’ section, and redeem the offer;

3. The link will take you to the NPL registration page, where you are required to fill out an NPL membership registration form.

To gift the ahm member NPL offer to someone else, you must:

1. Log in to your ahm account via the ahm website or app;

2. Navigate to the ‘member offers’ section, and redeem the offer;

3. The link will take you to the NPL registration page, where you have the option to select ‘gift my membership’;

4. Provide the contact details of the person you are gifting the membership to.
